PAST EVENT - Song to the Ocean String Workshops

Description

Inviting violin, viola and cello students aged 13-18 years with 3rd grade AMEB (or equivalent) level or above to participate in Song to the Ocean. This is a unique opportunity to be mentored by professional DeepBlue Orchestra musicians and award-winning composer, Corrina Bonshek. 

Participants will receive Song to the Ocean sheet music plus a guide track, and then join DeepBlue for two workshops at a local school before rehearsals and public performance of Song to the Ocean at Jezzine Park, Townsville.

• May - Sheet Music and practice track emailed
• Wed 28 June - DeepBlue String Workshop 1 at The Cathedral School Multipurpose Building 
• Thu 29 June - DeepBlue String Workshop 2 and Tech Run/Dress Rehearsal at Jezzine Barracks 

PAST Performances:

• Fri 30 June -  Song to the Ocean Performance 1 at Jezzine Barracks 
• Sat 1 July -  Song to the Ocean Performance 2 at Jezzine Barracks 
• Sun 2 July - Song to the Ocean Performance 3 at Jezzine Barracks
