If you have accessible needs and require 'attendant care support' to participate in community activities and attend venues, the Companion Card can help you with the costs of getting out and about with the support of a companion.

A Companion Card ticket will only be eligible for those purchasing an Adult or Concession Ticket. When purchasing online, once you have selected your Adult or Concession Ticket, the option for a Companion Card will be shown. Please select this additional ticket for your companion. 

If it does not show as an option, please ring the team on 0403 105 451 who will process one for you. 

Please ensure you bring your companion card to gain access to the show.

Infants are from newborns to 18 months old. For most shows they do not require a ticket but must be seated on an adult's lap throughout the show. 

If an infant ticket is required for a show, when selecting an Adult Ticket, the Infant Ticket will show as it is dependent. 

If this ticket does not show as an option, please ring the team on 0403 105 451 who will process one for you. 

Children aged 18 months to 12 years old require a Child Ticket. 

These tickets are dependent on a full paying Adult Ticket and will not be an option until selected. 

Concession and Student Tickets are valid for any of the following; Pensioners, Seniors, Someone with accessible needs, Veterans and Full Time Students.

Ticket holders must present ID at the door. 

NAFA is a hybrid Festival, that has both Curated and Fringe shows. All curated shows will offer concession/student prices, as well as the standard tickets.  

Fringe shows are brought to you by the artists, and their ticket prices and types they offer are decided by them, based on target sales to offset costs.

For the artist to bring you their amazing shows, they must pay their performers, marketing, travel, costumes, props and so much more. NAFA does not enforce any ticketing requirements on the artists, as we are here to support them and help them come back every year.

All group 4 and group 6 bookings are only for discounted rates, and do not guarantee you seats together. 

Please ensure you arrive early to sit as a party, and the Front of House staff will try their best to ensure you sit together. 

If you do not enter your card information within 3 minutes, for security purposes, the page will expire and lock you out of the payment window. 

If this happens, please go back to your Members Area and retry the entire process again. 

As an additional security measure, we require the name of each patron on their Print-At-Home e-tickets. It is your responsibility to name each of your Reserved Seat tickets in the name of the person who will use the tickets to gain entry to the event, BEFORE you download and print the tickets.

NOTE: The ticketholder may require PROOF OF ID to gain entry to the event.

If you have purchased more than one ticket, you will need to name the tickets you purchased for the other patrons that will accompany you.

You MUST NAME each ticket, including both Reserved Seats, General Admission tickets and event Shop vouchers, in the name of the person that will use the ticket to gain entry to the event. If you have purchased E-tickets, this must be done BEFORE you download and print them. Furthermore, the name on the ticket must match the ID of the person using the ticket to gain entry to the event.

To name your ticket/s, login to your Members Area, then:

1. Click on the “My Orders” menu
2. Click on the “View Order Details” button corresponding to your order/s
3. Click on the “Name Tickets” button, for each ticket that you wish to re-name and personalize the ticket for the person who will be using the ticket to gain entry.
4. Enter the new ticketholder name in the field provided
5. Click the “Name Ticket” button

In the case of E-tickets, once you have named them, you download and print them by either:

1. Clicking the "Download Ticket" button next to each individual ticket and then printing (Note: Please make sure your download blocker is not turned on!), or
2. Clicking the "Email Tickets" button next to the "Order Description" to have each individual ticket on the order emailed to your registered email address.

To download your ticket/s you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you do not have it installed, you can download it for free from - www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html

On the day of the event simply take your E-ticket/s with you as you would for any event ticket.  Please present your e-ticket on arrival at the entry gate.

Make sure that each person you have bought the tickets for has their own ticket when attending the event. You MUST NAME each e-ticket in the name of the person that will use the ticket to gain entry to the event BEFORE you download and print it.

The E-ticket bearer will be asked to show proof of identification at the gate of the venue to gain entry. Security staff will check that the name on the ticket matches the ID of the person using the ticket to gain entry to the event.

Do not give copies of your e-ticket to others.

Treat an e-ticket like cash.

Generally, NAFA cannot guarantee refunds or exchanges, except where an event has been cancelled or rescheduled, or where Australian Consumer Law applies.

A change in personal circumstances does not entitle a ticket holder to return or exchange a ticket.

Subject to any statutory rights of refund (including, without limitation, the provisions of the Australian Consumer Law), if an event takes place then generally there is no right to a refund or exchange, including where a ticket holder cannot attend because of adverse weather conditions.

If a refund is approved by the NAFA Team, unless required by Australian Consumer Law, our handling fees and delivery fees will not be refundable for events. $2 will be kept from each refunded ticket for processing fees.

If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, the below will take place:

Notification: If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify you once we have received the relevant information and authorisation from our Event Partner. If you book online, we will use your NAFA account contact details, so you should ensure these details remain up to date. However, we cannot guarantee that you will be informed of such cancellation or rescheduling before the date of the event. It is your responsibility to ascertain whether an event has been cancelled or rescheduled and the date and time of any rescheduled event.

Cancellation: If an event for which you have purchased tickets or Packages is cancelled in full (and not rescheduled), your order will be cancelled, and you will be refunded the price of your tickets (unless required by Australian Consumer Law, our Handling Fees and Delivery Fees will not be refundable for events, where this is specified in the event information for the event). If you have purchased tickets for an event that takes place over several days and one or more days (but not all days) are cancelled, you may only be offered a proportionate partial refund.

Rescheduled Events: If an event for which you have purchased tickets is rescheduled, tickets will be valid for the new date (or you will be offered tickets of a value corresponding with your original tickets for the rescheduled event) subject to availability. If you notify us before the specified deadline (which will be a reasonable period from the time the rescheduled event date is announced) that you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, you will be able to cancel your order and obtain a refund of the sale price of your tickets (unless required by Australian Consumer Law, our Handling Fees and Delivery fees will not be refundable for events, where this is specified in the event information for the event). Failure to notify us by any reasonable specified deadline that you are unable to attend the rescheduled event will be deemed to be a reconfirmation of your order for tickets for the rescheduled event, and you will not be able to claim a refund as a result of the reschedule (unless required by applicable law). For the avoidance of doubt, no refunds will be available until the new date is announced (which will be done within a reasonable time) to allow the Event Partner time to make arrangements for the rescheduled event.

In many circumstances, ticket prices are set at the time of the initial on-sale and stay the same until the event. However, some tickets including tickets that are categorised as "In Demand Tickets" or "Platinum Tickets" are "market-priced" and so the price of the ticket may increase or decrease at any time, based on demand.

Prices may also be changed by Event Partners for a variety of reasons (e.g. marketing promotions).

You will not be entitled to a refund or credit if (i) the price you paid for a ticket was at any time before you purchased your ticket less than the price you paid; or (ii) the price of any other ticket to the relevant event (whether in the same location or price category or otherwise) is subsequently reduced after you purchase your ticket.

Each show as part of NAFA has a rating, please see below the classifications to help you make an informed choice about what you watch. 

G for All Ages
The content is very mild in impact.
The G classification is suitable for everyone. G products may contain classifiable elements such as language and themes that are very mild in impact.

Parental Guidance (PG)
The content is mild in impact.
The impact of PG (Parental Guidance) classified films and computer games should be no higher than mild, but they may contain content that children find confusing or upsetting and may require the guidance of parents, teachers, or guardians. For example, they may contain classifiable elements such as language and themes that are mild in impact.
PG-rated content is not recommended for viewing by people under the age of 15 without guidance from parents, teachers or guardians.

Mature Accompanied (MA 15+)
The content is strong in impact.
MA 15+ rated material contains strong content and is legally restricted to people over the age of 15. It contains elements such as sex scenes and drug use that could have a strong impact on the viewer.
A person may be asked to show proof of their age before purchasing or viewing an MA 15+ film or computer game.
Children under the age of 15 may not legally watch, buy or hire MA 15+ rated material unless they are in the company of a parent or adult guardian. Children under the age of 15 who go to the cinema to see an MA 15+ film must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian for the duration of the film. The parent or adult guardian must also purchase the ticket for the child. The guardian must be over the age of 18 and exercising parental control over the child.

Restricted (R 18+)
The content is high in impact.
R 18+ material is restricted to adults as it contains content that is considered high in impact for viewers. This includes content that may be offensive to sections of the adult community. A person may be asked for proof of their age before purchasing, hiring, or viewing R 18+ films and computer games at a retail store or cinema.

The price shown for tickets on the site includes GST and, where applicable, per ticket fees but excludes fees that are calculated on a per transaction basis.

Per transaction fees are added to the final total of your order. The fees calculated on a per transaction basis are handling fees and delivery fees. Handling fees cover the costs of providing ticketing services, including things like infrastructure costs and operating an internet site. The delivery fee depends on which delivery option/s are available and selected by you at checkout.

Delivery options that normally attract delivery fees include Express Mail, Registered Post, International Airmail and International Express. The delivery options that attract delivery fees for an event and the applicable fee for each option, are displayed in the event information on the site.

We cannot swap tickets between different events, and cannot swap different tickets if the wrong ticket is purchased.

The safety of all those who attend any NAFA sites is our main priority. The festival will occur in a COVID safe environment and follow all advice provided by Queensland Health through their Public Health Directions found here. 

Whilst attending NAFA, all patrons, staff and contractors will be required to adhere to all Queensland Health directives as well as all local, state, and federal laws. 

Failure to comply with health measures or directives given by either local, state, or federal governments, or Event Staff, may result in eviction without the right to re-enter or to obtain a refund.

• Patrons acknowledge the Festival may be required by law to provide contact information to Public Health Officers on request.
• The Festival will not share this contact information with any third party other than the relevant health authority and will not use the information for promotional purposes.
• Patrons must not attend if they have COVID-19 related symptoms, have been in close contact with a person who is COVID-19 positive, have travelled overseas or to a COVID-19 hotspot in the past 14 days, awaiting a COVID test result or are COVID-19 positive. 
• Patrons must not attend if they are required to self-isolate and the event falls within the isolation period.
• Patrons agree to abide by all social distancing and health protocols.
• Patrons agree to follow the instructions of venue staff at all times.
• If patrons do not comply with protocols or authorised requests when on the event premises, they may be asked to leave immediately without refund or further recourse.
• A reminder of when arriving and departing the event premises to be mindful of the local community.

Disclaimer: Patrons acknowledge that while the festival has taken all reasonable health and safety precautions to keep the audience, staff and performers safe, patrons enter the venue at their own risk without recourse to claim against the venue or event regarding health outcomes.
